This is small-group training, allowing for plenty of interaction and discussion.  These popular classes book up quickly, so get in early to avoid disappointment.

All participants who complete the programme receive a personalised certificate, and Yvonne files reports with the REA on each licensee's behalf at the end of the month in which training was completed.

Many people become confused about where to check that their completed verifiable CPD has been reported to the right organisation.  

When you have completed your 10 hours verifiable CPD training with The Real Estate Coach Ltd, Yvonne provides you with a certificate of completion.  She also reports this directly to the Real Estate Authority (REA).  The REA is the regulator for the industry, that administers licences and training obligations.  

She does this no later than the end of the month in which you completed your course.  

To check that your completion has been recorded by the REA, follow these simple steps:

1.  Go to the REA website:  www.rea.govt.nz

2.  Click the "Manage your licence - Log in to the  licensee portal" box, below the large photo.  This usually requires a RealMe login.  

It's easy to get a RealMe login - just go to:

3.  Once in the licensee portal, click the "Continuing Professional Development" tab below the green band.  This shows your recorded verifiable CPD training for each year.

Please note, for your 10 hours non-verifiable CPD, you will be responsible for keeping your own record.  The REA does periodic audits of both verifiable and non-verifiable training, so please keep all your records up to date.  

As well as 10 hours' verifiable training, licensees also need to complete 10 hours' non-verifiable training.   Yvonne offers the following live online programmes to small groups (or face to face for offices in Auckland) in 2025:    

APPRAISAL METHODS FOR RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES

CMAs are great - if done well!  You know you're competing for the client's business, so stand out from the crowd.  Yvonne will teach you how to prepare CMAs that really tell the story, AND to back them up using three other appraisal methods.  This is an extremely practical class, with a comprehensive workbook to support your learning.

DISCLOSURE:  CASES FOR DISCUSSION 

 We can learn so much from the mistakes of others!  In this highly interactive session, we examine some recent cases where disclosure (or non-disclosure) has been the subject of a Complaints Assessment Committee or Disciplinary Tribunal decision.  Yvonne will guide you through the legal jargon, and help you avoid potentially costly and damaging errors.

Become a deal maker, not just an order taker!  When you understand the three key elements of negotiation, you can prepare, perform and prosper!   Developing these skills will give you the edge - in your real estate work, and all other situations where you need to negotiate!

UNDERSTANDING THE PRIVACY ACT 2020

Don't inadvertently breach this important legislation through carelessness or ignorance.  In this entertaining and informative programme, you'll gain valuable insights into how to meet your Privacy Act obligations.

She applies her learning and experience in a highly interactive programme designed to help you gain a deeper knowledge of your own mind as well as those around you - family, friends, colleagues, clients and customers!  

You'll learn how to 'read' people almost instantly, knowing ways to interact on their level without compromising yourself.  Many courses categorise people into just one type.   

But humans aren't static.  We all give off 'clues' as to our psychological needs when it comes to communication. You'll learn to 'read' these clues, and work with them, rather than against them.  Which leads to better communication, improved relationships and much more!

The introductory programme is a fun-filled, highly engaging half day.  This is an amazing team event.  

Yvonne Box epitomises the phrase "Ask a busy person".  She is a highly trained real estate coach, presenter and writer, working with her own brand and presenting academic and compliance training for REINZ (The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand).

In 2022 she was awarded the status of Fellow of REINZ in recognition of her decades of commitment to excellence in real estate training and compliance.

What little free time she has is devoted to her pets (one poodle, four rescue cats), fostering homeless kittens, reading,  gardening, photography and music.
